Industry NewsKyocera backs QPR FC Women with back-of-shirt partnership
Kyocera Document Solutions UK has become an official partner of Queens Park Rangers, taking back-of-shirt sponsorship of QPR FC Women alongside stadium and concourse advertising, and giving the print and office solutions provider matchday brand visibility and a community presence in a West London area it sees as a source of new corporate clients. The partnership also covers community projects, support for women’s sport and bringing technology to the local area.
Kyocera has highlighted QPR in the Community Trust, the club’s registered charity, which uses football to support health, education, social inclusion and participation programmes locally. The company says the charity’s work complements its own focus on social value.
The neighbourhood around the stadium in White City has been positioned as a place to find corporate clients, as the area now serves as a tech hub with modern businesses and the home of Imperial College’s new tech-focused campus.
Kyocera Document Solutions UK is the Reading-based UK arm of Kyocera Document Solutions Inc., headquartered in Osaka, Japan, which is part of Kyocera Corporation and employs 21,076 people across its group. It provides commercial print and office hardware and technologies.
Queens Park Rangers is a professional football club based at Loftus Road in West London, playing in the EFL Championship, and majority owned by Ruben Gnanalingam.
Steve Doust, group sales director at Kyocera Group UK, who spearheaded the partnership, said the company wanted it to be more than putting its name alongside a football club, and that it saw its own values reflected in QPR’s connection with its community.
Doust added that supporting QPR FC Women is something Kyocera is particularly proud of, that women’s football has tremendous momentum, and that the company wants to play a part in its continued growth.
Neil Sayer, business development manager at QPR, said: “I’m really pleased to have got this partnership over the line.”
QPR were in their eleventh consecutive season in the Championship in 2025-26, according to Wikipedia.
For the sector, the deal shows a business technology supplier using women’s team sponsorship and a local presence to reach corporate prospects near the stadium, rather than consumer audiences.
