About the Awards

The Irish Sponsorship Awards were founded in 2012 and have grown from a gathering of around 150 practitioners, clients and organisations back then into an event which attracts just short of 400 key sponsorship figures today.

Past winners comprise a ‘who’s who’ of the leaders driving the sector and our judges, which include international figures of substance, ensure that if you win an award it really does mean you are the best.

The objectives of the programme are to raise the bar and promote the sponsorship medium as a key strategic marketing channel through which to deliver business and organisational success.

Communications Partner to the award is The Irish Times and coverage of all phases will be carried on their online platform.
The team behind the awards is responsible for developing and managing over thirty business performance programmes, covering all the key sectors of the Irish economy.

Therefore, these awards sit within a broader context and are integrated with an events network that will engage with over 12,000 c-suite business leaders in 2019.

We regularly connect our winners and entrants with key decision makers in the industry who need their services.

The awards support the Irish sponsorship industry as an independent, impartial and constructive forum where excellence is celebrated, and business relationships developed.
