An Post, Cadbury and Coca-Cola have renewed their sponsorship of Christmas FM for 2026 as the seasonal station returns for its 19th year, giving three consumer brands a repeat presence on a radio service tied to a children’s charity appeal that has raised more than €4.3 million. The station has also launched its fourth annual business sponsorship competition, with a prize fund of €30,000 across three packages worth €10,000 each.

Christmas FM will stream online and on DAB+ from 1 November and return to FM on 28 November, subject to licence approval, broadcasting from the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley. Competition entries close on Friday 6 November.

Christmas FM is a seasonal Irish radio station co-founded by Garvan Rigby, whose Magic of Christmas Appeal raises funds for Barnardos, Barretstown and Make-A-Wish Ireland through Community Foundation Ireland.

An Post is Ireland’s state-owned postal operator.

Cadbury is the trading name of Mondelez Ireland Production Limited, which has made chocolate in Ireland since 1933 at Coolock in Dublin and Rathmore in Co Kerry, and is part of US-based Mondelez International.

Coca-Cola is the US-headquartered global beverage company, now in its tenth year as a Christmas FM sponsor.

Garvan Rigby, co-founder of Christmas FM, said the station is delighted to welcome back its three premier FM sponsors as it celebrates 19 years on air.

Amy Cavanagh, marketing communications manager at An Post, said the partnership reflects the postal service’s role in helping people connect at Christmas, whether through a handwritten note, a gift or a card.

Carla Reynolds, seasonal chocolate brand manager at Cadbury, said Cadbury is woven into many Christmas rituals, from advent calendars to sharing Cadbury Heroes and filling stockings with chocolate coins.

Paddy Carmody, frontline marketing manager at The Coca-Cola Company, said the partnership complements its long-running Christmas activity, including the Holidays Are Coming campaign.

An Post reported record revenue of €1.05 billion for 2025, according to RTÉ, and Cadbury employs more than 600 people in Ireland, according to Stir the Jam.

For the sector, three renewals alongside a €30,000 competition show seasonal radio pairing anchor sponsors with small-business entry points, with charity fundraising as the shared platform.
