Barista Bar strengthens community engagement through CIYMS Rugby Club sponsorship

Northern Ireland coffee-to-go brand Barista Bar has launched a new sponsorship with CIYMS Rugby Club Belfast, supporting junior teams and pitch advertising while investing in wider community initiatives, according to a Business Eye report.

The sponsorship package includes junior team kit support, branded post-pads to bring quality equipment to the pitch, and pitch-side advertising designed to enhance club visibility.

Keavy O’Mahony-Truesdale, National Brand and Business Development Manager at Barista Bar, emphasised the strategic importance of the partnership, saying, “Being rooted in community stores, it is so important to us at Barista Bar to continue and develop those relationships with shoppers, local community groups, charities and clubs and give back to those who show us so much support.”

CIYMS Rugby Club, a cornerstone of east Belfast since 1974, has cultivated talent reaching professional levels with several players representing Ulster, Ireland, and the British & Irish Lions.

Barista Bar continues its community engagement through partnerships with Walk NI and the Eco Rangers, supporting litter picks and environmental initiatives, while sponsoring local events like the Mallusk 5-Mile Road Race and NIPANC’s PedalThePeriphery with products and event support.
