PepsiCo has confirmed the renewal of its Positive Action Partnership with Cork GAA and SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh for 2026, extending a collaboration centred on sustainability, community engagement and inclusion in sport, according to Sport for Business.

The renewed agreement builds on a programme that has positioned the Cork venue as a testbed for environmentally focused event delivery and community activation. Among headline achievements has been SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh hosting its first fossil-free energy event powered by Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil fuel, reducing carbon emissions and marking progress in lowering the environmental impact of large-scale matchdays and concerts.

The partnership aligns with PepsiCo's global sustainability commitments, embedding environmental action within a high-profile sporting environment that attracts significant annual footfall across GAA fixtures and other major events.

Brian Colgan, site director at PepsiCo, said the renewal reflects the company's ambition to combine brand presence with measurable impact. "Our goal is to make every event at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh a showcase of innovation and inclusivity," he stated.

Sinéad O'Keeffe, commercial director at Cork GAA and SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, said the extension will help maintain momentum built over the previous two seasons. "Their support will assist in driving our sustainability agenda, promote positive action and engagement as we welcome all four Cork codes to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh," she noted.

The partnership provides commercial support while reinforcing Cork GAA's sustainability agenda across Gaelic football, hurling, camogie and ladies football. Beyond matchday sustainability measures, the Positive Action Partnership will continue to support inclusive Cúl Camps and sustainability-themed initiatives across Cork GAA clubs.

These activations are designed to engage volunteers, young players and local communities, linking environmental awareness with grassroots participation in Gaelic games.
