Industry NewsMotocaddy named PGA National Tournament Partner in three-year membership deal
UK golf equipment brand Motocaddy has been announced as a PGA National Tournament Partner in a three-year agreement, as reported by Golf Business News, delivering exclusive member pricing, tournament prizes and enhanced playing experiences to PGA Members across the UK and Ireland.
Under the terms of the partnership, PGA Members will receive exclusive pricing across the full Motocaddy product range and an enhanced playing experience at PGA National Tournaments. Each PGA National Tournament winner will also receive a Motocaddy M1 Electric Trolley as a prize, embedding the brand directly into the competitive framework of the national tournament schedule.
The deal positions Motocaddy alongside PGA Professionals as a direct commercial partner, with the brand seeking to strengthen its relationship with the membership body whose professionals shape how club golfers learn the game, purchase equipment and remain engaged in the sport.
Oliver Churcher, marketing director at Motocaddy, said the partnership was centred on the professionals at the heart of golf. "Partnering with The PGA allows us to work closely with the professionals at the heart of golf, enhance the PGA National tournament schedule to directly benefit PGA Members, and introduce even more golfers to the benefits of walking the course with Motocaddy," he said.
Richard Barker, PGA executive director of business development, said the deal delivered practical value for members at a professional and commercial level. "Motocaddy is a leading brand in the electric trolley space and they understand our Members and what they do day-to-day," he said. "This partnership provides genuine value, both personally and within their business, and we look forward to working with Motocaddy in the years to come."
Founded in 2004, Motocaddy has grown to become the world's number one electric trolley brand, with a product range designed to reduce the physical demands of walking the course and improve the overall playing experience for golfers at all levels.
The PGA partnership extends a period of active sponsorship investment by Motocaddy. The brand holds the position of official trolley and laser partner to the Clutch Pro Tour, sponsored two Clutch Pro Tour events during the 2026 season, and has an established ambassador programme across the professional development circuit, making the PGA national deal a further consolidation of its position at the centre of UK professional golf.
