Liverpool FC names US tech firm Trimble as global partner

Liverpool FC has confirmed a multi-year global partnership with Trimble, a US technology company, making it an official global partner of the Premier League club. The collaboration begins with the redevelopment of the LFC Academy, including a full-size indoor pitch, a new outdoor pitch with stands, and enhanced medical and sport science facilities for youth players.

Trimble’s SketchUp® software will be deployed to design the Academy, creating a modern environment for developing Liverpool’s next generation of talent. The partnership reflects the club’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and high-performance infrastructure across all areas.

Beyond the Academy, Trimble branding will feature across Anfield and Liverpool’s digital platforms, which reach over 215 million social media followers, 12 million YouTube subscribers, and a cumulative TV audience of 583.3 million across all competitions in the 2024–25 season. This ensures extensive global exposure for Trimble, reinforcing its profile among international fans and commercial partners.

Ben Latty, LFC chief commercial officer, highlighted that Trimble’s technology and expertise will shape the design and delivery of facilities that support players, staff, and fans. Rob Painter, Trimble president and CEO, noted that the partnership extends the company’s global reach while increasing brand visibility in line with its strategic objectives.

The agreement demonstrates how Premier League clubs leverage global partnerships to combine commercial impact with operational and technological innovation.
