Korean Golf Club announces PLUS as founding pillar partner in multi-year deal

Korean Golf Club of the LIV Golf League has announced a multi-year sponsorship with PLUS, a joint brand of South Korean financial group Hanwha's affiliates, marking the team's first official partnership since rebranding earlier this year, according to LIV Golf.

PLUS branding will feature across Korean Golf Club's 2026 player kits as the LIV Golf season begins on 4 to 7 February at Riyadh Golf Club. The United States-based league operates a team-based competitive format across international venues.

The agreement represents PLUS's largest commitment to men's professional golf and continues Hanwha Group's legacy of supporting Korean golfers. Korean Golf Club and PLUS will support young golfers in developing financial awareness, stability and life planning alongside athletic performance.

Katie O'Reilly, executive vice president and head of team business operations at LIV Golf, said the partnership reflects alignment between brand prestige and cultural authenticity. Chan-Hyuk Park, executive director of the PLUS division at Hanwha Life, said the sponsorship aims to bring PLUS's technology and data-driven philosophy to life alongside the journeys of Korean Golf Club players.

Martin Kim, Korean Golf Club general manager, said PLUS is helping define the foundation of the club's identity. "This sponsorship is about shared values, shared ambition, and building something meaningful. We will wear their brand on our uniforms proudly," he stated.

Executives from LIV Golf and PLUS joined for an in-person partnership ceremony earlier this month alongside Korean Golf Club team members. The team recently announced its full roster ahead of the 2026 season, headlined by captain Byeong Hun An, alongside Younghan Song, Minkyu Kim and former LIV winner Danny Lee.
