Gallagher named title partner of Dublin Horse Show in three-year RDS deal

Gallagher, one of Ireland's largest insurance broking and risk management groups, has been announced as title partner of the Dublin Horse Show in a three-year sponsorship agreement with the RDS, as reported by AdWorld, with the first edition under the new partnership, the 151st Gallagher Dublin Horse Show, scheduled to run from 5 to 9 August at the RDS.

The event is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors and will also mark the 100th year of the Nations Cup, where international teams compete for the Aga Khan Trophy, one of the best-known competitions in show jumping globally.

The deal marks a significant step for Gallagher in Ireland, where the company launched in 2022 and now operates from 12 locations, serving the insurance needs of more than 300,000 Irish businesses and consumers.

Founded in Chicago in 1927, Gallagher operates in more than 130 countries and employs more than 71,000 people worldwide, placing it among the largest financial intermediaries globally.

Paul Kelly, chief executive of the RDS, said the partnership was built on shared values. "This partnership reflects a strong alignment of values, heritage, excellence, and a shared commitment to supporting the equestrian traditions that are so integral to communities and culture throughout Ireland," he said.

Gallagher's global sponsorship portfolio includes New Zealand Rugby, Rugby Australia, the Gallagher Premiership in England, World Rugby, Special Olympics International, the Chicago Cubs, Miami Dolphins, FC Dallas and the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago.

The Dublin Horse Show partnership extends a well-established pattern of Gallagher using title sponsorships of major national sporting and cultural events to build brand presence in markets where the company is expanding its commercial footprint.
