Fpt secures $256 million digital transformation partnership in Southeast Asia

FPT Corporation, the Vietnam-based global technology and IT services provider, has signed a five-year, $256 million strategic partnership with one of Southeast Asia’s leading energy companies, marking the largest contract in FPT’s history. The agreement positions FPT to deliver AI-augmented digital transformation services across the client’s operations, supporting energy transition initiatives in the region.

Under the engagement, FPT will provide end-to-end application delivery, including custom software development, data engineering, DevOps, mobile and full-stack solutions, cloud services, and low-code platforms. Artificial Intelligence is embedded across all solutions, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the partnership.

FPT’s responsibilities encompass the full lifecycle of digital initiatives—from requirement analysis, solution design, development, and testing to deployment, support, and documentation—while maintaining adherence to technical standards, delivery governance, and emerging technology intelligence. The collaboration also includes delivery management services such as project and product management, change management, data science, and end-user design.

This partnership builds on two decades of collaboration between FPT and the energy leader, during which FPT has enabled enterprise modernization, adoption of advanced technologies, and the streamlining of digital operations. The company aims to leverage Southeast Asia as a hub for AI-driven solutions, fostering talent development, innovation, and regional impact.

Previously, FPT has secured multi-hundred-million-dollar contracts in the U.S., Singapore, and Germany, underlining its global competitiveness in Digital and Intelligent Transformation services.
