Fastenal partners with Belfast Giants for 2025/26 season

Fastenal, a US-based industrial distribution and supply chain solutions company, has become an official sponsor of the Belfast Giants for the 2025/26 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

The partnership aims to elevate Fastenal’s brand exposure in Northern Ireland.

Operating approximately 1,600 branches across 25 countries, Fastenal supplies fasteners, safety products, metal cutting tools, and other industrial equipment to sectors including manufacturing, construction, warehousing, wholesale, and state and local government.

The company emphasises customer-facing technology, local inventory, and global logistics capabilities to help clients reduce costs, manage risks, and scale operations efficiently.

Steve Thornton, Sports Director at The Odyssey Trust, commented on the sponsorship: “Fastenal's support of the NHL demonstrates their passion for ice hockey, and we're proud to bring that commitment to Belfast through this new partnership. Aligning with a partner of Fastenal's caliber reflects the ambitions of our organisation, and we look forward to building a strong and successful relationship together in the season ahead.”

Fastenal’s engagement with the Belfast Giants marks the company’s first sponsorship in the UK’s Elite Ice Hockey League, although it has been an official NHL partner in North America since August 2020. Fastenal began operating in Northern Ireland in 2012 and has since integrated itself into the local business landscape.
