Industry NewsConsello joins 2027 Ryder Cup sponsor roster
Consello, a New York-headquartered financial services advisory and investment firm, has signed a deal with the European Tour to become an official supporter of the 2027 Ryder Cup, giving the firm commercial visibility at the tournament's return to Ireland for the first time since 2006. The 2027 edition takes place at Adare Manor, Limerick, from September 17 to 19, before the event moves to Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota in 2029 and Camiral, Catalonia, in 2031. The deal follows Heineken's confirmation as a new sponsor earlier this month and US technology company CDW's return as a sponsor in early August.
Consello is a New York-headquartered financial services advisory and investing platform founded by chief executive Declan Kelly, with offices across the US, Europe and Asia including three locations in Ireland, among them Belfast and Dublin. Consello's existing golf ties include a brand ambassador deal with Irish player Shane Lowry and an advisory role for former Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley.
The Ryder Cup is a biennial men's team golf competition between Europe and the United States, organised on the European side by the European Tour Group, with the 2027 edition's other partners including Rolex, DP World, SAP, Capgemini, Smurfit WestRock and Stripe.
The deal builds on Consello's existing sports advisory relationships in golf rather than starting from a blank commercial slate, converting individual ties to Shane Lowry and Paul McGinley into a formal tournament partnership.
The sponsorship also reflects Consello's Irish footprint: with three offices on the island, the firm gains a home-market association with the tournament's first Irish staging in more than two decades, rather than a purely global brand play.
The Ryder Cup's growing sponsor roster around the 2027 event includes Heineken as beer, cider and stout supplier and CDW's returning technology partnership, alongside RTÉ's newly secured Irish highlights rights and multi-year Irish Open broadcast deal.
For the sector, the deal illustrates how professional services and advisory firms increasingly use marquee golf events, rather than team sports, to align with a client base of senior business leaders, extending sponsorship beyond the consumer-facing brands that have traditionally dominated Ryder Cup commercial activity.
