Club Orange signs four-year title sponsorship of Men's and Women's FAI Cups

Club Orange has been confirmed as the new title sponsor of the Men's and Women's FAI Cups in a four-year partnership with the FAI running through to 2029, making the Irish soft drinks brand one of the most prominent commercial names in domestic Irish football.

Sport for Business reported that the competitions will be known as the Club Orange Men's FAI Cup and the Club Orange Women's FAI Cup from this season onward, building on Club Orange's recent appointment as official soft drinks partner of the League of Ireland and both national senior teams.

Sean Kavanagh, FAI commercial director, said the agreement represents a significant investment in the domestic game and reflects a shared commitment to growing domestic football in Ireland, adding that the Club Orange Men's and Women's FAI Cups are two of the most prestigious and historic competitions in Irish sport and that the partnership will help further elevate their profile and enhance the experience for players and supporters.

Stephen Cramp, Britvic Ireland marketing director, said Club has always stood for realness and that there are few stages bigger or more meaningful than the FAI Cup for a brand like it, noting that football has always been a part of where Club belongs and that from local rivalries to the drama of the finals, the competition brings communities together.

The first round of the Club Orange Men's FAI Cup got underway on 10 May, with Bangor Celtic hosting River Valley Rangers. The second round draws for both competitions are scheduled for 3 June at the Sport Ireland National Sports Campus Conference Centre.
