Industry NewsBOYLE Sports extends Crusaders FC sponsorship agreement
BOYLE Sports has renewed its sponsorship partnership with Crusaders FC through to 2028, extending a relationship that began in 2023. The agreement reinforces sustained investment in football sponsorship across Northern Ireland as brands continue to prioritise long-term partnerships with clubs that offer strong community reach and supporter engagement.
Sport for Business reported that the renewed deal builds on BOYLE Sports’ broader football strategy in Northern Ireland, following a multi-year agreement signed in 2025 to become the official betting partner of the Northern Ireland Football League. The arrangement also includes title sponsorship of the NIFL Women’s League Cup.
Founded in 1982, BOYLE Sports has expanded into Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker, operating across retail and online betting markets in both Ireland and the UK. The latest extension continues a sponsorship approach centred on football properties with regional visibility and established supporter bases.
“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Crusaders through to 2028 at least,” said Liam McKee, head of sponsorship for BOYLE Sports. He added: “The club continues to represent everything that’s great about football in Northern Ireland, with strong community roots and real ambition on and off the pitch.”
The agreement comes during a significant period for Crusaders following victory over Annagh United, which secured the club’s Premiership status for next season. The club is also progressing redevelopment work at Seaview Stadium, including upgrades to the South Stand designed to improve facilities and matchday experience.
