Allianz Ireland has expanded its partnership with Irish sprinter Rhasidat Adeleke to include race kit branding for the first time, as reported by Sport for Business, with the Allianz logo debuting on Adeleke's competition kit at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene on 3 July, part of the Wanda Diamond League series.

The expanded agreement moves the partnership beyond its original focus on community initiatives and brand storytelling, placing Allianz directly on the track with Adeleke as she competes on the global athletics circuit ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The partnership was first established in 2023, when Adeleke was 19, and was extended in December 2025 through to the 2028 Olympic cycle. The addition of kit branding represents the latest stage in a relationship that has grown in scope and visibility alongside Adeleke's rise as one of Ireland's most prominent sporting figures.

Adeleke said the branding milestone carried personal significance. "Allianz has been in my corner since the early days of my professional career, supporting me through both my wins and learning moments," she said. "To have them now appear on my race kit feels like a milestone in our journey. It's more than just a logo; it represents a team that has believed in me from the start. I'm incredibly proud to wear the Allianz brand on the world stage as I continue to push my limits and represent Ireland."

Mark Brennan, head of marketing at Allianz Ireland, said the expanded deal was a natural progression. "Watching Rhasidat's journey since we first joined forces in 2023 has been a source of immense pride for everyone at Allianz," he said. "Expanding our partnership to include kit sponsorship is a natural next step, and we are proud to stand alongside her as she continues to represent Ireland on the world stage."

Brennan added that the partnership retained its community dimension alongside the new performance-focused element. "At Allianz, we believe sport has a unique ability to build confidence, resilience and opportunity, particularly for young people," he said. "It is about supporting role models who inspire the next generation to believe in what is possible."

Adeleke will continue to support Allianz-backed programmes including Dare to Believe, the Olympic schools initiative, and Keep Playing, the campaign aimed at addressing declining participation among young people, maintaining the community foundations that have underpinned the partnership since its earliest stages.
