Dave started his career as a TV buyer and progressed to MD of Carat in 2006 until switching to a group role in Dentsu as Chief Strategy Officer in 2015. Dave’s role requires him to understand how to connect brands with people in culture so he is passionate about sponsorship and how it helps brand build more meaningful connections in todays complicated and fragmented marketing landscape. He is particularly interested and excited about how brand leverage sponsorships to move beyond badging, seeing what brands can bring to sponsorships not just what values they can borrow from them.
